One of AEM's objectives is to highlight the achievements of the construction industry in order to attract youth to promising careers while promoting pride in our industry. With this goal in mind we have created a video "An Equipment Legacy, Enriching the World". Its scope-contributions of construction to the world-is an excellent message to share with today's youth, especially those considering technical/vocational careers.

We've captured the essence of the construction industry, profoundly showing projects through time and across situations that have made us the societies, the cultures, the world we are today. The video shows that our industry provides the means to power the world through construction of facilities serving other industries and homes. It shows we protected the world through the construction of airstrips in World War II. And last but not least, it shows that construction makes our lives, as a whole, possible and that our industry is the future.

Many people in today's world do not recognize the value of our industry. With that, it is hard for students to realize the fulfillment a career in construction would have. This video would be an excellent intro to a class or lesson focusing on construction, manufacturing, repair etc., as these are all parts of our industry. In addition, you can obtain historic equipment posters or postcards. The video is available, for limited usage, to academia at no charge. For copyright reasons the video must be returned to AEM.
