ConstructMyFuture.com awarded three scholarship winners for 2008. This year's winners are William Gumbert of Allenport, PA; John Adam Lynch of Fort Mills, SC and Andrew Retzlaff of Mankato, MN. These three individuals were chosen because they best demonstrated their interest and determination to succeed in the construction field. William Gumbert will be attending the Heavy Equipment - Technician and Operator program at Penn College of Technology. John Adam Lynch will pursue Construction Management at Clemson University. Andrew Retzlaff attending South Central College, will participate in the Heavy Construction Equipment - Diesel Mechanics and Hydraulics program.
You too can be like William, John Adam, and Andrew. Each year ConstructMyFuture.com offers three scholarships, each for $1,000. These scholarships are open to students and construction industry professionals. It can be used for higher education tuition or can be applied to the purchase price of tools by those who are currently working in the industry.

AGC Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships
Undergraduate scholarships are available for $2,000 per year to college sophomores and juniors enrolled or planning to enroll in a full-time, four or five-year ABET or ACCE accredited construction or civil/construction engineering program. This scholarship is renewable each year for up to $6,000 total. High school students and college freshmen are not eligible. Applications must be postmarked by November 1st.
AGC Foundation Graduate Scholarships
The Saul Horowitz, Jr. Memorial Graduate Award and the Heffner Scholarships for Graduate Students are worth $7,500 each. College seniors enrolled in an undergraduate construction management or construction-related engineering degree program, or others possessing an undergraduate degree in construction management or construction-related engineering are eligible to apply. The applicant must be enrolled, or planning to enroll, in a graduate level construction management or construction-related engineering degree program as a full-time student. Applications must be postmarked by November 1st.
